And this is how Linsanity ends. Just hours after undergoing knee surgery, New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin hosted an online Facebook chat to connect with fans. You'll recall back in February the sports world was transfixed by Lin's sudden prowess on the court. So intense was his star the phrase "Linsanity" grabbed hold of the online feeds for two or three weeks. And then, it was revealed that Lin was not only a mere mortal, he was probably just an average pro basketball player, at best.
