Amazon.com Customer Reviews for Binders Take on New Meaning

Amazon.com Customer Reviews for Binders Take on New Meaning | Communications Major | Scoop.it

Within hours of Mitt Romney's serious fumble on women in the workforce (he claimed to not know any as governor of Massachusetts and needed to be given "binders full of women" in order to find one or two fit to hire), Amazon.com's customer reviews on this popular office supply have taken on new meaning. Rather than getting a straightforward review of the product's durability and affordability, clever hacks have taken to the site to offer up how certain binders hold up to holding women in their place...and more.

A survey reveals how Americans viewed the first presidential debate. The majority still used TV rather than digital devices. Paul Ryan in Disguise

Paul Ryan in Disguise | Communications Major | Scoop.it

Trying to keep the Republican veep pick a secret for as long as possible under current online media standards, Mitt Romney's campaign deserves some credit. Apparently, they hustled Rep. Paul D. Ryan out of the Wisconsin woods in a baseball cap and sunglasses. Democrats are often criticized for saying that Republicans are "uncool". Here's proving we're not all that biased - we give you the new Mr. Cool Disguise as worn by Republican VP hopeful Paul Ryan.

Ann Romney has been portrayed as the loving wife standing behind Mitt throughout his presidential campaign, but in a Good Morning America interview this week, she may have hurt rather than helped her husband's image—at least in the Twittersphere- when she referred to those clamoring to see more than one-year of the Romneys tax returns as "you people"

Lie of the Year: Romney Campaign's Ad on Jeeps Made in China

Lie of the Year: Romney Campaign's Ad on Jeeps Made in China | Communications Major | Scoop.it
It was a lie told in the critical state of Ohio in the final days of a close campaign -- that Jeep was moving its U.S. production to China. It originated with a conservative blogger, who twisted an accurate news story into a falsehood. Then it picked up steam when the Drudge Report ran with it. Even though Jeep's parent company gave a quick and clear denial, Mitt Romney repeated it and his campaign turned it into a TV ad.
