At a campaign event in a Wisconsin bowling alley yesterday, projected GOP nomination silver medalist Rick Santorum told a boy that he shouldn't use a pink bowling ball on camera, telling him that "friends don't let friends use pink balls." One doesn't need to go too far out on a limb to guess what the notoriously homophobic ex-Senator meant by this. Pink is for girls, silly!

Next week's cover on The New Yorker magazine mocks the now infamous Mitt Romney "dog on car roof "incident. It even features Rick Santorum as the late Romney dog Seamus. (Romney's "dog on car roof" escapade occurred in 1983). While anti-Romney forces from every angle have been pointing to this incident as Romney being "uncaring" at least and "inhumane" at worst, dog lovers in particular, will probably not be casting many votes for Mitt Romney.

The Internet was buzzing on Friday morning that Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum may have almost dropped the n-bomb on President Barack Obama. Speaking to a group of voters in Janesville, Wisconsin on Wednesday, the candidate seemed to catch himself before using a word that sounds like “n*gger” to describe the president. First it was "pink bowling balls," now this. I don't know about you and your experiences with bigots, but where homophobia flows, racism is usually not too far behind.

GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum found himself in damage-control mode on Thursday after calling English primacy a condition for Puerto Rican statehood. But, there is no rule in the Constitution requiring the adoption of English for the admittance of new states, and the United States does not have an official language. The majority of people living in Puerto Rico speak Spanish as a first language.
