Craigslist is suing companies for using housing ads posted by its users to create maps, Legal experts are divided as to whether Craigslist’s claims of copyright infringement are valid. Craigslist claims,
“Each user-generated posting on the craigslist website is itself an original work of creative expression, as it includes unique written descriptions ....”
