What started out as a funny joke is now turning into a mudslinging war of words. After the topless photo of the comedienne was initially removed, Handler reposted it and wrote that if Instagram removed it again, "You're saying Vladimir Putin has more 1st amendment rights than me." Handler's pose mimics a much mocked (but never censored) shot of the Russian leader, topless, on horseback.

If you're not a basketball (or sports fan), you may be forgiven for not knowing who (or what) Donald Sterling is. But, you've been seeing him trending on Twitter and in your Facebook newsfeed no doubt for the past 48 hours. He was the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team until a few hours ago when he was banned from the NBA for life due to years of racist and sexist comments. What we love about the interwebs are quick and handy guides like this one that paint the picture for us in no time flat. What you'll see if you click is not pretty. It is bigotry.
