For the Republican uncivil war on women, we’ll need a take-no-prisoners Democratic general. Hillary Clinton has fought for women’s rights around the world. But who would have dreamed that she would have to fight for them at home?

The notoriously (and some say ridiculously) right-wing news conglomerate agrees with the liberal left. Republican politicians are indeed jeopardizing women’s health and reproductive freedom and slandering those who try and stand in their way. The consequence? President Obama will coast to re-election with a double-digit lead.

When you read headlines like this, you may ask yourself "Is it 2012? Or the 1600s?" Women's rights are on the front burner in this year's Presidential politics and are quickly becoming a wedge issue by Republicans meant to divert attention from President Obama's accomplishments and/or the still struggling US economy. Online conversations are raging on both sides of these debates and fanning the flames for what could end up being an all-out online riot as the year...and these threats to women...progress.
